Development Lead - Global Software Vendor

 
As a well-established vendor, this organization has continued to grow year on year for some time now.  With a presence right across the globe, they are continually expanding their team.  They are currently in need of a Development Lead to join their organization and manage the Melbourne team. This person will be a hands-on manager and will work closely with various stakeholders across the business and delivery high level solutions.
 
Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a team of highly skilled developers (onshore and offshore) and deliver complex solutions
• Undertake design, development, integration, testing and support of solutions
• Work in an agile environment and assist in the design and development of high quality solutions.
• Engage proactively with stakeholders to plan and develop solutions
• Be involved with design reviews, agile and stakeholder meetings.
• Write up relevant documentation in accordance to business standards
• Act as a subject matter/technical expert
• Assist with testing and deployment
• Work with the Sales and marketing teams

Experience Needed

• Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team
• Technically capable and demonstrated experience in no particular order: ASP.NET, C#.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience within Agile environments
• Experience in SDLC
• Demonstrate initiative – being an individual contributor is not enough!
• Qualifications in Computer Science or something similar
