What you'll be doing

The eMeds Application Specialist Team Leader is responsible for delivering ongoing application support and major service improvements for the Cerner Medication Application Support (CMAS) Service by applying application specific technical expertise and relevant clinical knowledge to achieve optimal business outcomes.

  1. Extensive experience and a record of achievement in supporting clinical information systems and the ability to understand and translate business requirements to ICT solutions within a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of medication management processes and work practices within a large health care organisation/NSW Health
  3. Experience in medication management processes as a registered pharmacist.
  4. Strong analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  5. Excellent organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
  6. Proven interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
  7. Proven capacity to contribute to and implement strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and work within an operational support business unit
