Seeking a Senior Project Manager with demonstrated experience on large complex ICT projects, with SAP ERP/EAM experience ( particularly managing the business / process change when implementing Enterprise Documentation and Records Management systems).
The Senior Project Manager will need to:
- Manage a mixture of internal and external staff and ensure the effective alignment and co-ordination of vendor activities to an agreed schedule.
- Oversee the development and management of a detailed project plan to deliver a phased implementation comprising multiple interdependent initiatives.
- Manage the resolution of conflicting priorities and the related issues and risks across various streams of work.
- Communicate formally and informally through existing forums to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.
Duties of the position will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the development and management of project plans, schedules, budgets, changes, risk / issue and dependency registers using processes and tools.
- Ensuring resources, capacity and dependencies are managed for successful delivery.
- Providing accurate and timely project status reports.
- Develop succinct issues / options papers to facilitate decision-making by steering and executive committees.
- Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and senior management.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience as a project manager on large complex ICT projects, with SAP ERP/EAM experience ( particularly managing the business / process change when implementing Enterprise Documentation and Records Management systems).
- Demonstrated experience managing projects leveraging a variety of development / delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, senior management and project team members.
- Demonstrated ability in managing a mix of technical and non-technical staff including vendor resources.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines in a high pressure, fast paced environment while managing multiple projects or work streams
The following are highly desirable:
- Experience implementing any of the following solutions: SAP Success Factors, SAP security capability, SAP Finance, SAP Asset and Works, SAP S4 Hana digital core
- Experience using SAP activate methodology.
- Experience with SAP enterprise Content Management connectors (xECM)
- Experience with OpenText Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solution
- Solid business case development experience.
This opportunity will be offered on a 12 month contract + 12 month extension option.
