What you'll be doing
The eMeds Application Specialist is responsible for contributing to the delivery of ongoing application support and service improvements of the Cerner Medication Application Support (CMAS) Service by applying application specific technical expertise and relevant clinical knowledge as required to achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Experience and a record of achievement in supporting clinical information systems and the ability to assist in translating business requirements to ICT solutions within a large and complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
- Awareness of medication management processes and work practices within a large health care organisation/NSW Health.
- Experience in medication management processes as a registered pharmacist or registered nurse
- Demonstrated ability in analytical and problem solving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
- Proven interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Proven capacity to contribute to and implement strategic initiatives, including the capability to plan, manage change, improve performance and work within an operational support business unit
