QCS is seeking a highly motivated candidate who works well independently and in a team situation as onsite Technician. The role will as be to provide support for our Technical team.
We are looking for an onsite Technician to do Cabling and Workstation upgrades.
The applicant must have Data Cabling experience and also experience in installation of Computer Workstations.
Your day to day tasks for this role include but are not limited to:
Computer work
• Installation of new computer workstations
• Installation of new peripherals
• Upgrades to current workstations
• Assist in fault repairs
• Relocations
Cabling
• Fault finding and repair of IT installations
• Cable patching
• Relocations
• Moves, adds and changes
• Report on progress of projects
The successful applicant should meet the following minimum requirements.
• A Manual current driver’s license is imperative.
• Previous Work Experience.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• At least 3 years experience.
The willingness to learn new skills with attention to detail.
