Secure this interesting role as a Senior Business Analyst within a unique Federal Government Agency, which will run until the end of September with a view for extension.
You will be working on the Risk Maturity Program, which will provide an enterprise-wide view of the status of risk management activities, processes and behaviours used and demonstrated throughout the Agency. Working closely with the Program Sponsor (CRO), Program Lead and Senior Managers, you will make sure the scope and direction of the program and stream activity within the program is on schedule and within budget.
The Role:
- Assist with the development of interview questionnaires, surveys and focus group material to capture information as it relates to the maturity of risk and compliance within the Agency.
- Develop assessment criteria and methodology across the each mode of information capture (i.e. Interviews, Surveys and Focus Groups)
- Assist with the review of the Agency’s Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance Framework’s to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Assist with facilitating Interviews, Focus Groups, Surveys and capture results for review and assessment.
- Collate information captured, assess and analyse results and assist with preparing a report for the Program Lead.
- Identify, analyse, evaluate and report on key metrics to assist with assessing risk maturity.
- Provide program/stream level analysis - producing required analysis documentation.
- Support and align efforts to meet Strategic Program needs.
- Lead or participate in Program streams by completing and updating program documentation; managing program scope; adjusting schedules when necessary.
- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; managing resources; and driving the resolution of issues.
About You:
- Experience working within an Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance function or related projects
- Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point and possess strong relationship building and communications skills
- Experience working on large scale projects, ideally in a Government context
- Proven innovative thinker and a hands on all-rounder, with the ability to investigate work, gather information and provide to PMO director
- Formal Business Analyst Qualifications
