This Global Financial company /  IT Outsourcing company based in the Macquarie park/CBD area requires the expertise of an experienced Senior Business Analyst/ consultant with strong skills working in the Insurance practice and will offer plenty of variety and exposure to clients.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

• A senior professional with extensive Life Insurance experience is required for this role to work on general Life Insurance projects and systems projects
• You will be the in-house business expert for Insurance services and implementations.
• As the primary point of contact for the Insurance consultancy/Business Analysis, it is a mandatory requirement that you demonstrate significant expertise in this area; you must have an infallible level of knowledge around methods, procedures and business workflow in this business domain.
• Provision of Life Insurance expertise and knowledge to internal & external client
• Dealing directly with senior client representatives (e.g. system architects, business architects, C level).
• Work alongside designated internal Project Manager offering business knowledge and support
• Legislation / regulatory changes: analysis of the impact on Insurance systems.
• Provide Support for Implementation Projects, including Preparation & Planning.

Selection Criteria

• Extensive expertise/experience in LIFE400 is ESSENTIAL
• Typical experience: administrator/user of Life Insurance systems; integration consulting, business management
• Competent communication and presentation skills is essential
• Typical snr BA skills (Requirement’s Gathering, workshop facilitation, user stories, Gap/Needs Analysis etc.
• Life Insurance Technology exposure and knowledge particularly with agile and/or waterfall: strong advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-sufficient, highly motivated, resourceful individual
• Be a problem owner and solver with a logical approach to solving issues
