About the role
STS are looking to appoint a part-time Project Manager (Security Application/Database Migration) with a strong technical background for an initial 10 month fixed term contract with a possible extension.
Duties & responsibilities
As a Project Manager within Secom, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Management of site-specific issues, planning, status updates and scheduling
- Management of direct report employees
- Attending site meetings and preparation/submission of reports
- Creating and Tailoring Project Plans to capture site-specific requirements
- Coordination of variations, delays, RFIs and dispute management in line with the relevant contract
Skills & requirements
Essential
- Demonstrated Project Management experience on a large application/database migration, Security or Defence projects
- A Security License or be able to obtain a valid Security License
- Must hold a Current baseline AGSVA security clearance
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively, individually and as part of an integrated team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project
Desirable
- Relevant Project Management qualification
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Contract administration experience an advantage
