SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER, CLOUD MIGRATION AND GREENFIELD BUILD

• 6 month initial contract (renewal and/or conversion to permanent)
• Bleeding edge technologies
• Greenfield DevOps project at Enterprise Level.

COMPANY BLURB:

My client is a global fully serviced financial services provider based across Europe, Asia and Australia. They have been running for over a century. From here they have grown to over 60,000 employees globally. In the last 9 months they have had huge funding to address their core banking technology funding to ensure their customer experience is unrivalled. They have a number of opportunities running and coming up, however I wanted to share what they are currently looking for within the DevOps Space.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

6 months initial contract with a renewal or convert to permanent dependent on the candidates preference

Build out their Cloud Infrastructure and build out there CI and CD pipelines, they have 11 streams of work that need to have automated CI/CD pipeline running through them. They will then going into phase 2 of the project of containerising all of their deployments with Docker and the orchestrate the management of Docker with Openshift/Kube, Build server images using scripts. The Kube/Openshift work will be later in the project as the pressing work is building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins

YOU WILL HAVE:

• Developed ephemeral/immutable cloud infrastructure before.
• Can use Git day to day (including branching).
• A cloud templating technology (Terraform or Cloud formation or ARM templates or HEAT etc).
• Cloud Infrastructure with cloud templates (openstack = mirror of cloudformations, Ansible)
• Ansible/Terraform
• Hashicorp, Packer etc
• Jenkins
• Docker/Kubernetes (Openshift)

 

This opportunity is suitable for people with full working right for Australia (Austrian Citizen or a Permanent resident for Australia)
