  • Must be immediately available
  • Must have relevant construction industry experience
Support includes, but is not limited to logging, assigning, tracking and resolving faults and service requests.  Responsible for the resolution and end-to-end management of reported customer incidents through the IT support process.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Supports the local office through:

• Acting as first level and desktop Help Desk support;
• Managing all aspects of the IT Support incident life-cycle, including end of lease hardware refresh;
• Ensuring that problem escalation process is followed within the pre-defined procedures;
• Documenting and updating technology related instructions and procedures;
• Maintaining a database of historical activities to be used in on-going problem resolution;
• Achieving goals and objectives as determined by office management and the local office IT Team Leader;
• Assisting with the day to day administration of a Windows based network;
• Providing regular reports documenting the progress of the Help Desk function;
• Identifying training issues and preventing problems occurring through analysis of problem trends;
• Investigate ways to reduce Help Desk calls.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Technical Skills / Qualifications

This position will suit a graduate or equivalent work experience.  The following list covers desirable skills and experience;
 Strong skill in supporting Windows XP/7, MS Office 2007 - 2012, Outlook and Intel-based hardware;
 Excellent customer service experience;
 University or TAFE qualified;
 Knowledge of  Windows Server and networking concepts
 Competent in NEC PABX and VoIP phone systems
 Knowledge of Engineering software (AutoCAD, REVIT etc) would be advantageous
 Experience in supporting mobile devices, specifically;  iOS, Android and Blackberry
 Understanding of SCCM
