SALARY RANGE:
$78,117 to $84,361 pa (plus 17% super)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time (36.75 hours per week) and fixed term for 12 months
LOCATION: Geelong Waterfront Campus

ABOUT THE ROLE

To provide leadership, coordination and support in the development and implementation of information technology innovations that enhances ADD service development and delivery.

This will include:

  • Leading and coordinating programs to ensure Portfolio staff awareness of Deakin Initiatives and their application to enhance the development and delivery of Portfolio services.
  • Coordinating the management of software products and online platforms that could enhance the efficiency or effectiveness of service delivery in the Education Portfolio.
  • Developing and managing processes and strategies to support Education Portfolio staff in varying tasks on multiple platforms, providin gadvice and solutions to issues that arise.
  • Delivering detailed technical support, effective and timely training and advice to staff to support the function of the Education Portfolio.


ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in Information Technology field or equivalent extensive experience.
  • Knowledge of computer networking and programs, the Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and web based technology.
  • Experience and knowledge in the development and maintenance of databases (e.g. Access, Oracle).
  • Demonstrated commitment to best practice, customer care, effective client liaison and the provision of quality service, including prompt and reliable attendance to resolve information technology issues at agreed times.
