REDD has an opening for a JavaScript Firebase Developer in our Brisbane office.
About the role
This role is based from our Brisbane head office and is a full time role.
This role is for a suitable JavaScript Firebase Developer to help accelerate the development of our products and platform, and contribute to the growth of REDD. You will have the right mix of skills and perseverance to solve problems and develop new functionality.
Skills required for success
To succeed in this role, you will require the following attributes:
- Ability to work autonomously, with a self-starting attitude and approach to work.
- Experience working successfully with both local and offshore teams.
- Demonstrated ability working with Firebase, React JS and CSS.
- Experience of working within Firestore is extremely desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of the mobile industry and the ability to develop the company's products using the latest device capabilities and trends.
- Able to provide and achieve realistic timeframes and take responsibility for deliverables.
- Able to troubleshoot and debug issues relating to the code.
- Have at least 3 years of experience developing finalised code through products.
- Solid exposure and understanding in software development related technologies platforms and industry.
Other necessary items to note, specifically about this role include:
- As a fast-growing organisation, our entire team is multidisciplinary and therefore the ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing and varied environment.
- Our team is distributed across the globe, hence the ideal candidate would have some experience in working with remote team members and suppliers across several continents, understanding the cultural differences each brings.
- REDD is a 100% digital company and therefore the successful candidate would have a strong background is using a variety of software applications including the full Microsoft Office Suite, experience in CRM systems such as Dynamics365 and understand how to maximise use from the broader internet resource pool.
