About the role

Reporting to the Manager Program Delivery your key accountabilities will include:

• Lead the planning and scheduling activities, including dependency management, to drive successful delivery of the regional program
• Work with the regional delivery managers to ensure that business needs are met as projects evolve within a program of work
• Work with the delivery managers to establish, manage, track and report on the program budgets
• Ensures that project progress and performance data is collected, aggregated and reported accurately
• Identify, analyse and provide recommendations on project, program and operational risks and opportunities
• Oversee critical procurement management that has a material impact on the delivery of the program
• Work with the regional delivery managers and identified stakeholders to eliminate blockers to project milestones
• Perform quality control of the program of work in line with the Technology governance and assurance frameworks and report on status and corrective actions
• Provide technical support to the delivery managers and the delivery teams, as required
• Mentor the Production Systems project team on project management methodology to ensure successful delivery of the program of work  

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have substantial experience (10+ years) in a Program/Project Coordinator, Project Manager or similar role, with experience in change management. A tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline, PMP or Prince 2 certification will be advantageous in this position. You will have advanced MS Office skills and ideally possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, PlanView and SAP.

As the preferred candidate, you will have experience in contributing to the success of large-scale and complex projects/programs, ideally within mining, oil & gas, utilities or manufacturing. You will be a confident team player who takes accountability for outcomes and possesses excellent project forecasting, estimation and financial management skills.

You have superior interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence, and build credibility and trust across all organisational levels. Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools is advantageous, as is experience identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. You possess excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills (including root-cause analysis) with the ability to prioritise effectively in a high-pressure environment Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control will see you thrive in this role.
