Position Summary:

The KPI Reporting Analyst is primarily responsible for analysing and compiling relevant KPI data from day to day operations and setting up relevant reporting formats to determine whether the KPIs are being met.  Your data analytics will steer continuous improvement efforts to identify root cause and work collaboratively with the team to provide the data to support the measurement of lead and lag indicator

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyse KPI reports within required timelines.
• Monitor the data to identify most ‘at risk’ performance areas, and assist in instigating proactive, cost effective solutions.
• Ensure that data is cleansed so that an accurate picture is represented both to regions and the client.
• Transform data into automated reporting platforms, including dashboards
• Provide information and analysis to relevant internal and external stakeholders as required.
• Ensure data is managed correctly in the KPI systems and checked for accuracy.
• Resolve problems as quickly and effectively as possible, escalating to management when required.
• Ensure working relationships with relevant internal and external team members to ensure that their requirements for data and reporting are met.
• Assist relevant staff interpret data for their regions.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure that service levels are met and exceeded

What we're looking for:

• Graduate qualifications in accounting/business/commerce/Computer Science with post grad qualifications an advantage.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SQL and database design principles
• Experience as a KPI Analyst.
• In depth understanding of performance measurement, attribution analysis and Risk (ex-ante and ex-post).
• Computer literate, in particular Excel, Access, Word.
• Strong numerate and analytical skills and able to undertake non-traditional analytical tasks.
• Working knowledge of industry reporting standards.
• Ability to work accurately and achieve operational goals under the pressure of tight deadlines.
• Ability to effectively analyse information on performance to identify issues/problems and identify corrective action with relevant people.
• Ability to prepare useful reports on performance using the KPI data.
• High-level written, verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and follow through.
• Demonstrated understanding, commitment, responsiveness and compliance to corporate policies for Occupational Health & Safety, Protection of the Environment, Quality System, Equal Employment Opportunities and other People policies.
