Based in Perth and reporting to the ICT Manager, the Senior Web Developer will be the primary point of contact for all development and troubleshooting tasks for the various Sea to Summit websites. This includes development of new features, changes and the resolution of issues.
The Senior Web Developer will be fully conversant in development and troubleshooting of Magento v1 and v2 websites.This role is also responsible for designing monitoring systems of the corporate web servers along with resolving issues and completing tasks raised through the Helpdesk.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Proactively manage and prioritise development and troubleshooting of the Sea to Summit websites and action all tasks in a timely manner.
- Carry out all development tasks as needed.
- Proactively report any issues that may affect the IT systems and Websites of Sea to Summit to the ICT Manager for actioning.
- In consultation with the ICT Manager, assist with the deployment of software installation, upgrades and updates, after having performed the necessary testing and business impact assessments.
- Latest thinking and advancements in technology to recommend innovative solutions
- Able to create and articulate a clear and inspiring vision and translate that vision into a practical implementation plan.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders.
- Change management experience, and a strong continuous improvement focus.
- Experience in managing third party providers to achieve desired outcomes.
- The ability to provide technical advice and support.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
