Our Opportunity

We currently have an exciting and rare opportunity for a driven individual who will join our team in Perth as a Project Coordinator.

Reporting to the PMO Manager this role will see you providing project support/coordination to project managers and engineering teams throughout the end-to-end project lifecycle. Other duties will include:

  • Work on the preparation of comprehensive breakdowns of work and resourcing plans, timeframes and budgets for projects / programs.
  • Coordinate project schedules and resources, track and drive actions through to conclusion.
  • Work with the leadership teams to eliminate blockers and mitigate risk.
  • Support the preparation of budgets, maintain project documentation and manage to financial queries.
  • Management and delivery of project work packages to cost, schedule and quality constraints.
  • Work with vendors and sub-contractors for procurement and logistics of equipment and personnel.

To be successful you must have experience:

  • Experience providing assistance in running major projects across the business.
  • Experience with project management frameworks and able to support project managers and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Tracking & reporting on the overall progress of project and key deliverables.
  • Planning & scheduling of resources & monitoring resource utilisation.
  • Establishing and maintaining the project documentation library.
  • General day to day administration supporting the project office and project managers.
  • Experience delivering technology projects in mining, utilities and/or manufacturing environments is desirable.
  • Experience in a contracting environment or contract management functions is desirable.

Our Requirements

The successful applicant will have a proven track record within project support/coordination, where they will have developed a strong understanding of the fundamentals of Project Management and have exceptional stakeholder management skills. This opportunity will allow for making a natural transition from a support/coordination role into a Project Manager position with Aqura Technologies.
