One of the largest private education groups globally based in the Sydney CBD requires a Solution Designer/ Architect to join their organisation in a 12 month fixed term position - high chance of becoming permanent.
As a Solution Designer/Architect you will be responsible for developing, socializing and agreeing solutions that delivers fit-for-purpose systems, an agile and secure IT stack with a focus on reducing operational overhead and costs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop, socialize and agree technology solutions that delivers fit-for-purpose systems, an agile and secure IT stack with a focus on reducing operational overhead and cost
- Work with Corporate IT and other company institutions to identify best practice technology solutions and apply to the business
- Ensure solutions are both strategic and practical to drive the business forward
- Consult extensively with business stakeholders, understand business drivers and communicate solutions in business language
- Work with business stakeholders, project management, business analysts, development team, infrastructure team and vendors to prepare business cases, and gain signed-off of solution design documents that guide configuration and development work
- Ensure systems architecture and configurations meet Australian Regulatory requirements and Corporate controls requirements
- Play a lead role in implementing major and minor systems changes in a complex and fast moving environment
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 plus years’ experience within Solution Design & Architecture
- performed development roles previously and has designed integrated solutions
- led product selections, maintained architecture repositories
- End to End SDLC experience - (tech road maps, product selections, high level/ low level design)
- Key Applications/Platforms: Salesforce, AWS, integration platforms (Informatica), PeopleSoft,
