Purpose
As a Full Stack Engineer you will work with some of Australia’s Tier 1 and 2 companies undertaking sophisticated programming and software development activity at a senior level to support the development of enterprise omni-channel applications for large, complex and distributed environments. While being part of an agile team of diverse and talented Software Engineers, Devops Engineers and Agile Delivery Leads you will work in a collaborative environment solving complex problems and develop code based on client requirements in alignment with best approaches and practices such as; functional and object-oriented programming as well as test driven development.
A position you’ll love

- Develop omni-channel responsive applications across multiple platforms within large, distributed client environments

A candidate who will excel
You thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment and have the ability to adapt to varying demands. You are experienced in consulting with clients on different levels in Tier 1 and 2 organisations and you most likely understand what it means to work in a large global consulting organisation. Also, you are experienced in working in Scaled Agile environments and has a strong understanding of agile principles.
Technical Competencies
- Expertise in Java technologies such as; Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JPA, JMS and exposure to other Java libraries and frameworks.
- Expertise in web technologies such as: Javascript (ES2016+), NodeJS and in using multiple frameworks/libraries such as ReactJS, Vue.js, Angular Platform, Redux or similar
- Awareness of the 12 factor principles of microservice development.
- Expertise in designing well-formed RESTful APIs
- Experience with CI/CD platforms as well as IaaS/PaaS
- Experience with rapid prototyping of application concepts.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or similar.
