Role:

As a Senior Change Manager, you will develop and implement change management strategies, plans and interventions across multiple change initiatives to drive faster employee adoption, greater utilisation and proficiency for change initiatives, so that projects meet business, schedule and budget objectives. This includes:

  • Developing and executing change management strategies and plans to maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise change resistance
  • Regularly evaluating risks and developing solutions to address risks through appropriate interventions by leaders, project team or sponsors
  • Applying the business Change Management Framework to create and implement actionable change management deliverables including: stakeholder assessments, change impact assessments, communications plans, sponsor roadmaps, risk assessments, readiness assessments, training plans, resistance management plans etc.
  • Ensuring a co-ordinated and consistent change management approach across the change program and that change management deliverables are integrated into project/program plans
  • Coach and influence:
    • leaders and executives in the role of change maker and sponsor
    • front-line managers to effectively support their employees through the transition
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of change plans and interventions and implementing changes to the approach to ensure that key milestones are being achieved
  • Establishing and implementing metrics to measure the effectiveness of the change management approach to ensure the realisation of benefits from the change

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Tertiary qualification in Change Management or Business-related discipline
  • Prosci and/or Change Management Institute Practitioner accreditation, or other certification deemed equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years professional change management experience at a senior level, with extensive knowledge of best/competitive practices in Change Management
  • Experience in leading and managing change management strategies and interventions for significant organisational projects, including the development and implementation of change management strategies and interventions for single or multiple change initiatives
  • Experience working effectively at all organisational levels as well as delivering presentations and influencing outcomes at senior leadership and executive level
  • In-depth understanding of how people go through change and effective interventions for supporting people through the change curve
