Our ACT client protects and supports the community and the environment by providing high quality drinking water and wastewater services to the ACT and surrounding regions. With $2billion of water and waste water assets, their infrastructure network is over 6440 kilometres of pipeline delivering more than 100 mega litres of water each day and treating over 29 giglitres of wastewater each year.

 
About the role

Based in Canberra, this role offers a 2 year fixed term contract with the responsibility for managing ICT Security across the organisation along with ensuring the security and stability of systems which are integral to the operations of their ICT infrastructure. You will develop and maintain ICT security related work instructions and procedures as well as undertake ICT security testing and response to incidents.

About You

We're seeking an ICT tertiary qualified Security Analyst with a high level of experience developing and delivering ICT security strategy within budget constraints. Ideally you will hold relevant technical certifications, such as GIAC, CISSP or CEH, and other industry recognised technical certifications would be advantageous, such as MCSE or RHCE.

A high level of initiative and professionalism is expected in this role along with a strategic approach and project/time management skill.
