A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solutions Architect with a background in networking with this major enterprise, multi-site, complex organisation. This role will be primarily based in Parramatta, but a willingness and the flexibility to move between sites in the Sydney metro is required. 

You will be contributing to the ongoing governance of architectural standards/patterns whilst providing high level strategic advice and developing technology roadmaps. 

You will have the following skills and experience : - 

Extensive experience in solutions architecture within a large complex organisation and environment. 

Extensive experience in contemporary frameworks and technologies/architectures, including but not limited to TOGAF, Cloud, LAN/WAN, Converged infrastructure, storage, hardware load balancing, security, Identity/Directory services, Application Delivery and virtualisation.

Excellent knowledge and experience in the support and provisioning of Juniper (Netscreen / SRX) and ASA firewalls (implementing firewall rules), Cisco routers and switches and F5 Load Balancer (GTM and LTM). 

Demonstrated experience working within an Enterprise Architecture discipline, across a multi tenanted and federated complex service environment, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.

Excellent client and stakeholder management and engagement skills and experience are essential. 

You will challenge customer business processes, and manage requirements in regard of value creation and business transformation. Define Global Solution Architecture leveraging best practices to support customer business objectives, highlighting committed value, and taking extra care of feasibility and delivery effort.
