PMG are a full service, well-established, family run global advertising and marketing agency, with a proven track record of delivering innovative and cutting edge solutions to our strong client base located adjacent to the Sydney CBD in Woolloomooloo.
We are seeking an experienced PHP web developer to join our development team and work on a range of websites, microsite, custom online systems and web platforms.
Includes updating existing platforms and developing websites and microsites from the ground up using frameworks such as Laravel as well as building upon existing source code and developing custom functions, modules and reporting tools.
The successful applicant will need to be available to work regular business hour weekdays at our studio in Woolloomooloo Sydney.
They must have extensive experience in:
- PHP
- MVC frameworks such as Larval, CodeIgnitor etc
- Database engineering/design skills - MySQL
- Jquery/Json
- Javascript
- CSS/Sass
- Bootstrap (HTML/HTML5)
- SSH/Cron
- Git
- API Integration
- AngularJS a bonus
Other tech skills/experience that would be beneficial:
- MODx CMS
- Wordpress
- SEO
- UI/UX
- Understanding of the Laravel framework
You will need to be able to work autonomously as well as within a team to problem solve functionality requirements and be confident in building custom modules, websites and online tools from scratch along with testing, maintenance and bug fixing.
