My client is a leading Australian based software company. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be working with a talented team of developers and operations staff . You will be given the opportunity to work on innovative iAndroid Apps. The development team deals with a mixture of new projects, features, operational maintenance and problem solving.
General Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Create high quality code that requires the fewest reworks or corrections within expected time frames and meet defined business requirements
- Write high quality code for innovative Android Apps
- Work as part of a team in an Agile environment
- Architect software to a high standard
- Use technology to solve our customers business problems

My client is looking for someone who is mature and commercial minded in their approach with the desire to have the successful candidate grow into an integral member of the development team.
The perfect person for this role will have a remarkable memory, be an exceptional debugger, quick thinker and a people person.
Key requirements for role:
- Languages: Swift, Java
- Senior Android dev experience
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Architectural and design patterns (e.g. MVC, DI, IoC, REST)
- \Working within frameworks (e.g. Android SDK
- Architecture, design and implementation of mobile phone apps
- Review of and recommendations for design and UX
- Implementation of new features and amendments
- Bug investigation and solution
- Documentation of code and systems
