The opportunity
Our client is a global engineering company with an available opportunity for a National IT Operations Specialist. The IT Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure across Australia, working to maintain corporate applications, servers and security and resolve issues. As the IT Operations Manager you will also have the opportunity to be responsible for delegated projects as well as the training and education of users. In over seeing the Infrastructure for our clients presence in Australia this role will include interstate travel. The ideal candidate

• Effective communicator with both excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinker and problem solving approach.
• Experience in developing, implementing, documenting and maintaining IT infrastructure.
• 3+ years experience supporting Microsoft platforms, servers and applications.
• Confident with maintaining and troubleshooting networks.
• Hold relevant qualifications and certifications in IT (Bachelors degree in IT, MCP, MCSE or equivalent).
