Kapsch TrafficCom is a specialist supplier of Intelligent Transport Systems including speed/warning and detection systems and in this case – road tolling. These devices and systems need to perform to standard. Experienced Product Testers are now required to carry out a series of roadside tests to ensure compliance.
 
We seek an electronic/computer based Tester with an electronic or computer based qualification and also with ability to fault find on electronic/IT systems. This will also involve documenting accurately actions taken and liaising effectively with customers. Working to defined standards and providing feedback to management will be critical too.

You should have at least 1 year of relevant electronic / computer test experience for hardware / software. You need to be technically savvy, including IT competent in Windows and networking as well as possessing the ability to understand electronic systems and use test equipment (eg multimeter).    

There will be an expectation of some flexibility on your part as some work is performed out of doors and in the vicinity of live traffic. A full Australian driving licence is essential and you will need to obtain a Queensland construction industry White Card. A satisfactory police check will also be required. This position will commence by mid July.  A daily pay rate of $415.00 plus super will apply via PAYG.
