About the role
The Technical Business Analyst role is responsible for eliciting and capturing the technical business requirements and ensure the solution meets the desired technical standards. This role provides the glue that holds the technical aspects of the program/project together while advising on technical decisions and innovation.
- Responsible for technical solution analysis
- Works with Business Analyst to evaluate the technical options and decide the best way to turn the high-level business requirements into a technical solution
- Understands and captures the architectural footprint of the solution
- Understand technical environments and interfacing systems to ensure effective and integrated planning and design (e.g. testing environments)
- Analyses and captures technical processes and requirements using analysis methodologies and tools
- Provides support and participates in testing activities including all interface and technical testing disciplines
Essential Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years technical analysis, requirements gathering, modelling and process improvement experience
- Software, systems and solution delivery lifecycle experience
- Experience working on technology enabled projects
- Financial/Insurance Services Industry Experience desirable
- Detailed knowledge of specific Insurance applications/systems(e.g.: L400)
- Life 400 experience would be golden!
