This innovative provider and highly recognised brand of Integrated HR & Payroll Management Software Solutions continues to dominate its market worldwide. Due to this continued growth and with further expansion plans now set in motion, they are looking to acquire another solutions-based key Account Manager to join their Perth office and take over a portfolio of existing accounts and also develop new opportunities within the existing client base.

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in contributing to the continued success and growth of our client's innovative and vibrant customer focused company. Culturally we are looking for an energetic, motivated, target-driven & team orientated individual.

Success in this role will come from your vast experience in a solutions selling environment, along with your proven track record in managing key accounts - the portfolio is a mixed bag of Key Accounts down to the small end of town. Ideally, you will have sold software solutions and managed full sales life cycles.

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious individual who excels in a value-add solution sell environment, possessing exceptional presentation & communication skills and not be afraid to present to large groups at a time- "the complete value proposition". Ultimately, you will have the drive to succeed in an autonomous sales environment.

What you will do:

  • You will responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholder
  • You will liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our client's solutions
  • You will be required to manage and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling, negotiation, while managing business relationships
  • Strategic solution selling - identify new opportunities within your accounts and develop strategic road maps
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Use a consultative approach to selling solutions in a long-term complex sales process
  • Liaise with the State Business Development Manager during the pre/post sales cycle as required
  • Able to travel intrastate, interstate and possibly overseas as required

What you will bring to the role:

  • Significant Account Management experience and effective call cycle planning  OR.......an "inside Account Manager" wishing to venture into an outbound role
  • Experience working within large, complex organisations and strong ability to identify key stakeholders
  • Understanding of ERP, HR or Payroll Systems -Advantageous! 
  • A self-starter with the hunger to achieve results autonomously along with proven history of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication skills, a professional consultative approach and strong business acumen
  • Stakeholder management and experience in dealing with a wide range of C level and mid-level decision makers
  • Thrive on identifying potential clients, developing and implementing account management strategies, and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, driven and tenacious with the natural desire to achieve in a competitive climate
