Working within the Production Support team, this is a great opportunity to utilise your extensive experience in General Insurance and Polisy application. In addition to delivering solutions to meet stakeholders' requirements, you will also apply best practice methodology and continually review processes identifying opportunities for improvement, whilst ensuring a positive customer experience.

At Allianz our Information Technology (IT) Division is located in a state of the art activity based working environment. The design brings our IT employees together in a spacious North Sydney office and creates a central, sustainable working environment. The new workplace has been designed to promote collaboration, flexibility and efficiency providing employees the freedom and technology to move around to different workstations, collaboration spaces and meeting rooms.

To succeed in this role you are required to have the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline
  • Solid experience in an Analyst Programmer role, ideally in a General Insurance background where you have had good exposure to Polisy.
  • Extensive experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, SQL development
  • DB2, EZT language experience would be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Customer focused
  • Solid understanding and experience to implement all stages of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for business initiatives
  • Highly motivated and dynamic team player
  • Flexibility and an adaptable approach
