We pride ourselves on being a relationships company first, and a technology business second.  As a result of our growth, we are seeking a talented engineer who holds these beliefs sacred to join our Service Desk team as a Level 2 Service Desk Engineer.  

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for providing Support to a number of businesses, whilst also participating in proactive monitoring and fixes.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to incoming support incidents in a timely manner via the Service Desk.
  • Contributing to procedural documentation and knowledge base as required.
  • Assisting with monitoring of client servers and providing fixes as required.
  • Server maintenance.
  • Providing exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Phone, remote & onsite (where needed) support

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role you must be comfortable supporting the following technologies and have previous experience with some or all of the following: -

  • Windows 2003/2008
  • Microsoft SBS
  • Microsoft Exchange
  • Server 2012
  • Active Directory
  • Terminal Services/RDP
  • All forms of Desktop Support (XP, Vista, Win7, Win8.1, Win10)
  • Printers (Setup & Configuration)
  • Previous work experience in an IT services company will be very highly regarded!
  • Certifications (Microsoft/ITIL) will also be highly regarded!
  • Experience with Citrix XenApp/XenCentre highly regarded!
