The team is looking for someone who has worked more closely with the change management side rather than someone very technical/IT focused or from the finance side - a ‘people’ focused Business Analyst.
Job Description:
The Business Analyst reviews and analyses the organisations' business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business analysis planning and monitoring for the procurement and relocation of IT equipment
- Maintain the ongoing relationship with the IT team, including active involvement in the IT working group
- Effectively collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage business transition plans
- Assess and document current state to future state
- Develop project collateral and plans including process flows, IT plans, business transition plans
- Determine the effectiveness of proposed solutions and identify associated risks
- Gather information on business assets and work collaboratively with the business to manage the disposal and relocation of assets - this includes auctions.
Overview:
- Analyse existing systems, applications and functions to ensure strategic objectives are met
- Provide analysis and deliver regular and ad hoc reports to inform management on the status of portfolio performance
- Provide accurate advice about solutions to technical issues to assist with specific business requirements.
- Provide creative solutions, based on sound analysis, to improve the performance of projects.
- Analyse information and data to identify requirements for corrective action and develop recommendations for interventions and enhancements
- Undertake qualitative and quantitative research to identify trends and assist with determining business priorities
- Build and maintain key relationships with all stakeholders to exchange information and determine and resolve issues.

- Achieving multiple objectives, given limited resources and tight deadlines.
- Identifying interdependencies and balance competing demands and priorities.
- Establishing relationships with stakeholders to develop trust and ensure reliable and accurate information
