Due to an internal transfer an opportunity is now available for a Digital Delivery Manager to join the Information Technology Group. The IT Group is a multifaceted team with a mandate to lead our business to success through collaborative partnerships and innovation.
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Accountable for the delivery of agile digital development services with pace and quality
• Lead and manage the Digital Delivery team.
• Ensure all solutions are supportable and production ready from both a technology and business perspective before go-live
• Provide technical lead development advice, support and delivery including completing development tasks directly
• Build trust and support for Canon IT within Canon through communication and team performance
• Drive IT involvement in key business decisions
• Develop, monitor and achieve agreed service and financial objectives

To Be Successful in your application we are looking for:

• Hands on, solid experience in leading a software development team with Agile and waterfall software development methodologies
• Deep platform knowledge of Sitecore and/or Magento
• Deep architectural understanding of web applications with a passion for discovering and understanding the latest digital trends
• Working knowledge of programming languages including php, .NET, C#, Bootstrap, JavaScript (jQuery, angular), CSS (LESS).
• Working knowledge of modern digital technologies eg. video platforms, edge cache technologies, image/media servers, social connect (authentication), SEO best practice
• Working knowledge of SAAS, PAAS, and Middleware (BizTalk) technologies
• Experience mentality (happy coding as well as leading)
• Superior creative and innovative problem-solving skills
• Experience in responsive development  and enthusiasm for mentoring junior developers
• Ability to influence senior level management and key stakeholders
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience as Agile Scrum Master
• Experience in working with remote / distributed teams and with a testing framework
