Our client is a fast-growing boutique IT consultancy that specializes in the latest storage solutions. By consistently producing top quality services, it has allowed them to be highly respected in their industry both nationally and internationally. They are currently one of the leaders in their space.

Work with a number of Vendors including Dell EMC, VMware, AWS, MIcrosoft + more.

6 month initial contract with a high possibility of extending another 6 months

The role
  
As a project manager you will be responsible for:

• Working collaboratively with business and project stakeholders to guide data migration's 
• Leading project activities to ensure outcomes satisfy key stakeholders
• Managing the successful execution of Data migration from onsite storage to cloud
• Manage a number of different stakeholders to provide effective solutions
• Drive, facilitate and co-ordinate decision making between internal and external project staff
• Manage budgets, road maps and SLA's 

Must have

You must have previous experience with infrastructure migrations; managing data center relocation projects and be able to communicate effectively to all levels of management in complex environments. 

Key skills and experience: 

• Minimum of 5 years experience managing IT infrastructure projects 
• Previous experience with managing cloud migration projects end-to-end
• Experience with working in a number of tier 1, complex environments 
• Excellent knowledge of AWS/Azure migration strategies
• Previous experience with servers, storage and backup in particular. Systems/ Cloud Engineering back ground will be highly advantageous
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills 
• Be able to work autonomously
• Great organisational, analytical and problem solving skills 
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills 
• Experience with using AGILE, PMBOK or PRINCE2
