Our federal government client is seeking the service of a senior server administrator for a long term contract
Your new company
The department provides foreign, trade and development policy advice to the government. The department works closely with other government agencies to ensure that Australia’s pursuit of its global, regional and bilateral interests is coordinated effectively.
Your new role
In your new role you will be expected to meet the ongoing support requirements for the departments current and future visualised and physical server infrastructure.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
1. Demonstrated expertise and extensive experience (5+ years) in administering and supporting enterprise virtualised (hyper-converged and hypervisor) and physical server infrastructure with specific experience supporting Nutanix environments.
2. High level of understanding of the design, build, operation, support, maintenance and troubleshooting of Nutanix, VMWare and hardware based or equivalent enterprise level server infrastructure architectures.
3. Demonstrated experience in the design of highly available virtualisation solutions in high security environments.
4. Administration and support experience across a wide range of enterprise hardware and software platforms including, but not limited to, Dell and HP server hardware, Acropolis and ESXi Hypervisors along will all Microsoft enterprise products
