We have an opportunity for a Full Stack Developer to join our Business Systems team alongside Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Integration Developers and ETL Developers. If you have a passion for web software development, applying technical solutions in a business context, working in an agile methodology delivering business solutions, then this role is for you.
This is a new position for a new project of significant size and budget. Your role will be a combination of options analysis, design, estimation, development and support of front-end web applications delivering a portal platform for a multitude of services. As a senior developer you will also be providing guidance/direction and support to the wider team.
To be successful in this fantastic opportunity you will have:
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in a development role within a Microsoft environment
- Experience in both on premise and cloud solutions
- Good understanding of business processes and technology implications
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to guide and mentor other developers
- Problem solving and analytical skills
And have worked with the following technologies:
- C# .NET and MVC
- Presentation frameworks like Razor Pages/HTML/CSS or equivalent
- ASP.NET Core Entity Framework and Web API
- JSON/XML formats
- REST/SOAP
- SQL Server/Oracle Database
- Visual Studio
- Git and GitLab
- Unit Testing frameworks
- Agile/Scrum (Team Services/JIRA or equivalent)
- UML Design (Sparx EA or equivalent)
The following skills and experience would be highly regarded:
- Portal platforms
- Javascript frameworks such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS or equivalent
- Messaging architecture using NServiceBus/MSMQ or equivalent
