A leading Financial Services organisation in Melbourne are in requirement of an experienced Wintel Engineer to commence a brand new project.  This is a great contract opportunity that would then extend due to a large project pipeline.

As a talented System Engineer, you will own the Wintel environment and be an SME across the business.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational support
• Experience managing Active Directory in large scale enterprise with over 1,000 users
• Experience in networked systems support, in a Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 Client/ Server environment (or other Microsoft operating systems)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007/10/13/16
• Strong knowledge of Windows 2008/12 server and TCP/IP networking including Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, DFS(R), Group policies
• Solid technical expertise in SCCM, WDS and WSUS
• Hands on experience of automated server/workstation builds and automated server/workstation patching
• Hardware knowledge (IBM, HP, Dell standalone or Blade system)
• Solid SAN knowledge (vSAN, Dell Equallogic, ISCSI)
• Proven experience with scripting, Perl, VB, Powershell, Kix script etc.
• Previous experience working with Symantec and CommVault backup technologies
• Knowledge and Experience working at an Enterprise level environment
• Experience in support of mission critical systems
• Previous experience working in an operational 24*7 environment
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers
• Diploma or university degree in computer science or information technology and relevant work experience or industry experience
• Experience with Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure)
