A leading Financial Services institution is seeking a SAS Platform/Systems Specialist to join their team on a contract basis.
Joining the credit risk domain of this leading Australian banking giant, the successful candidate will have responsibilities including: managing user access requests, Data Analysis/Investigations (determining issue origination and implementing controls) and other systems/platform management oriented tasks.
You will also be responsible for working closely with relevant business units to identify and understand credit risk related data elements.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Credit Risk and/or Banking Product experience
- 4+ years of commercial Advanced SAS experience particularly in Base SAS, SAS/Macro, SAS Enterprise Guide and SAS Management Console.
- Experience using SAS BI & DI tools.
- Strong SQL experience
- Strong experience with SAS platform management.
- Experience in batch scheduling jobs using LSF and Control-M
- Hands on experience using Unix/Linux servers and execution of SAS jobs in batch.
- Data quality analysis and remediation
- Experience using database specifically around Teradata
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience working with data in multiple formats such as XML, CSV, flat files, SAS datasets and Teradata database/server
- Hands-on use of the Atlassian toolset of JIRA, Confluence and BitBucket.
