We are currently engaged on number of different projects with a large utilities organisations, and are seeking capable Integration Engineers (Wireless) to join our team onsite. As an Integration Wireless Engineer, you will be involved in the requirement definition phase through to deployment of the capability lifecycle. You will have an end-to-end view of the solution and acquire an understanding of all products and technologies involved and how they interact. You will bring together the disparate parts of a solution, ensuring that each component interworks seamlessly in the end to end solution.
To be considered for this engagement you will need to have:
- Experience in Wireless, testing and integration
RAN & Core experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Telecommunications in a relevant lab, test facility or operational environment.
Telecommunications industry experience on large scale projects;
Experience working within a project team, and an understanding of project management fundamentals
Multi-vendor systems integration experience
Relevant Industry certifications (Routing/Switching, ITIL, ISTQB, PMP/P2 etc)
CCNA/CCNP
Relevant Tertiary Qualification (e.g. B. Eng. Electronics & Communications, B. App. Sc. Computer Science or similar)
Your Responsibilities will included but not be limited to:
- Producing technical documentation, including specifications, methods of procedure, complex network diagrams and solution overviews; using a variety of applications including MSWord, MS Powerepoint, MS Excel and MS Visio
Multi-Platform, Multi-Vendor Systems Integration
Configuration of routing/switching appliances
Network Operations and Network Management
Understanding of testing methodology and test tools
Technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills in an enterprise or carrier, network or systems environment
