As Greater Bank embarks on an ambitious journey to challenge the banking status quo, we are seeking an accomplished and equally ambitious Business Intelligence Designer to join the team.
The Opportunity
Based in our Head Office in Hamilton, you will be placed within our Business Intelligence team and will be responsible for the design and development of BI and ETL solutions, utilising MS and SAS BI Technologies and MS SQL 2016 database. Your designs and builds the new ETL’s and data warehouse components will serve reporting and analytics requirements as we grow.
What will you do?
- Work with large, complex and disparate data sources using SQL to quickly deliver accurate and timely insights and reporting from our data warehouse
- Design and Develop ETL, data transformation and data management processes
- Dimensional modelling
- Consulting with DBA team, BI team and users on their reporting requirements, defining required outcomes, implementation of the agreed plan and solution;
- Developing and documenting functional requirements with business stakeholders;
- Design, develop & document new financial, sales and operational reports, reporting packs and dashboards;
- Writing reporting and data flow specifications;
- Perform technical and functional testing;
- Providing and maintaining user/technical documentation;
- Investigating reported issues by consultation with stakeholder groups;
- Deploying modifications/reports to live environments once final approval given;
- Provide support to users of the Business Intelligence System
What we’re looking for
To be part of this exciting opportunity we are looking for someone;
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong current data analysis and reporting skills utilising a variety of reporting tools
- Experience in SQL, PowerShell, SAS Visual Analytics, Tableau
- Strong business analysis skills
- Experience with data warehousing, staging tables, data modelling, data integration, data migration, data warehousing, warehouse database design and data analysis.
