To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Senior DataStage Developer, ideal to have any exposure working within the Insurance or Finance industry.
Key technical skill requirements:
- IT qualification( Diploma or Degree)
- IBM Certified (Data Stage, Data Manager & Framework Manager) or Equivalent work experience with other industry standard BI, Data warehousing Tools.
- 5+ years application development experience with all of the following or equivalent tools
- IBM Infoshpere 11 Suite – Information Analyzer, Data Stage, Information Governance
- IBM Data manager 10.2.1 (not mandatory, may require to have an high level understanding of the tool)
- Cognos Framework Manager
- Cognos BI
- DB2/Oracle/SQL
- Tableau
- 3+ years’ experience estimating
- 3+ years’ experience working in complex technical environments with multiple applications/architectures
- Involved in (or has led) the setup of development environments and change control processes. Displays a solid understanding of source control techniques and change management
- Experience of Agile and traditional SDLC
Position reports into Application Development Team Leader.
