PreSales Engineer / Consultant (Security)

This organisation has the horsepower of a global leader combine with the agility & expertise of a boutique security player. They are looking for a PreSales Engineer / Consultant who can work with the sales team to help drive new business growth in new and existing clients.  Reporting to the Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture & PreSales, you will deliver product/solution presentations and demonstrations both internally and externally, coordinating with Product Marketing & Management and Sales Leadership to ensure that solutions are delivered in a timely & appropriate manner.

More specifically, the responsibilities will include:

• Engage with clients on advanced discussions on how to improve the overall security of their environment;
• Present solutions and services from a technical security, GRC and/or business perspective;
• Analyse client needs and scope & design solutions accordingly;
• Perform demonstrations of solutions;
• Assist in the overall "presales" process, including responding to RFPs;
• Act as primary conduit between your Sales team and the client's tech teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years working in Security;
• Experience working as a Sales Engineer or Consultant 
• Knowledge of security implementation
• Expertise with market leading IDS/IPS, firewalls and SIEM technologies
• Knowledge of PCI, HIPPA, ISO 2700x security standards and frameworks
• Understanding of penetration testing and security controls audit
• One or more certifications: CCSP, CISSP, CISM, GIAC (any), PCI, QSA;
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
