ARC Group are seeking a recent high school graduate who is passionate about a career in IT.
This Service Desk Trainee will be the first point of contact to any IT related requests from customers. This person will provide exceptional service and assistance to rectify and solve issues as they arise by providing phone, email, remote access and occasionally face to face support.
As a Service Desk Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in a professional supportive team environment with structure and exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
There is also considerable room for development within this role across a broad range of technologies such as tablets, notebooks, PC’s, Server infrastructure, storage systems, Cisco and Juniper networking as well as opportunities for career progression.
Who are we looking for?
- A recent high school graduate who has done some IT subjects at school
- Someone who enjoys pulling apart and building computers
- Some knowledge of Windows 7/8/10
- Some general networking knowledge
- Good phone manner and customer service skills
This is a full time Traineeship and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to undertake a Certificate III qualification whilst working.
No previous IT working experience necessary!
