About the role
As part of our Titan Services Division, we are seeking a Software Developer/Engineer to develop innovative software solutions that deliver improved mining productivity for our customers. The Titan Load Haul Optimisation system is currently the leading hydraulic excavator payload monitoring system in the market, both in terms of accuracy and proven productivity benefits for the customers. This role will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your technical expertise working in a whole-of-life product development environment.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
- Develop (design, write, test, review and document) algorithms and software as part of the Titan services product development team.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to capture requirements and develop continuous improvement processes.
- Provide high level support and engineering analysis to clients and customer service teams and be comfortable discussing technical concepts with non-technical audiences.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Degree qualified in IT, physical sciences or engineering.
- 5+ years experience in the design, development and implementation of algorithms and software for physical mechanisms.
- An inquisitive mind with an excellent attention to quality and detail. Experience in mechatronics, robotics or related field would be considered highly desirable.
- Solid proficiency in requirements analysis, architectural design and software implementation (.NET). Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Mercurial, and Team City would be considered desirable.
- Strong inter-personal skills and experience working effectively in multi-functional teams; as well as the ability to be proactive, self-motivated and operate independently.
