My client, a market leading Digital Consultancy are building out their Development and Integration team and are looking for an hands on hybrid Tech Lead / Architect.  This role has been created due to an increasing number of project wins, especially across the financial, government and higher education domains.  This is very much a hands on technical role

The role is permanent and will be based in the CBD predominately

The Role: 

• Architect, design, develop, and implement solutions targeted at .net and Azure solutions
• Assist in designing technical strategies and best practices
• Design and develop robust, scalable, high performing, customer centric solutions
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues
• Participate with business analysts in requirements gathering, analysis, and specification, providing technical expertise and recommendations
• Cross-train other development staff on Microsoft subjects
• Utilize proper source control practices
• Participate in system upgrade scoping and code migration
• Provide mentorship to junior developers  

Tech Spec and Key Skills:

• Proven experience in designing and delivering integrated cloud and hybrid cloud applications on AWS that implement SaaS and Serverless products.
• Must have specific experience with AWS products such as:

• AWS Lambda
• AWS API Gateway
• AWS EC2 
• AWS Aurora/RDS/Dynamo
• AWS S3 Storage
• AWS Mobile Hub
• AWS Identity & Access Management

• Extensive experience in Java development
• Commercial experience of best practice user authorisation and authentication techniques and practices - SAML, OAUTH, JWT etc.
• Commercial experience developing REST APIs using JSON, OpenAPI and SOAP webservices using SML and W3C schema
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to be client facing
• Experience in integration technologies such as ESB, API Management, WebServices, EDI
• Any experience in Apigee/Mulesoft/Axway/CA API Management/WSO2/Neuron ESB will be highly regarded
