About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Presales, Consultant, Solutions Architect to join our talented Melbourne team on a permanent basis. This position will see you designing enterprise scale Integrated Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, Unified Communications and Microsoft Skype for Business solutions. The role incorporates the development of strategy, frameworks and industry best practices, engaging in solution design activities and working with clients in providing advice on architecture, and migration strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop High Level Design - technical solutions aligned to customer business requirements, applying a sound consultative design methodology
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners
- Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
- Manage priorities, multi-task and work well under pressure
- Conduct site surveys and customer meetings for the purposes of scoping projects and determining customer needs
- Complete Scope of Works (SOWs), Bills of Material (BOMs) and provide labour budgets / quotes
- Prepare complete audio visual design packages (including functional drawings, wall elevations, floor layouts, reflected ceiling plans, cable schedules, IP configuration spreadsheets / cross connect sheets, etc.)
Key Selection Criteria
- Successful technical experience and competence within the Unified Collaboration solutions incorporating Microsoft Infrastructure, Digital signage, Video Conferencing and PBX solutions.
- Relevant industry / vendor certifications from vendors such as: Microsoft, Polycom, Cisco and/or IP based PBX.
- Tertiary qualifications preferred
- Proven analytical and conceptual thinking skills for effective problem solving and decision making
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must
- Ability to work to firm deadlines and work collaboratively your team
- Previous experience working with a solutions provider in a pre-sales role will be highly desirable
