Our client, a leading government entity, has an outstanding opportunity for a capable Senior Applications Administrator to join their talented team. The purpose of this position is to operate, maintain and support a number of complex information systems for health surveillance, analysis, collaboration, mapping and reporting, whilst maintaining project deadlines and program milestones. 

The senior applications administrator will operate, maintain and support critical and non-critical information management and population health reporting systems.

This position entails you to provide advice on the following:
- Data management
- Electronic data transfer
- Data storage and communications
- Access permissions
- Security and IT infrastructure issues
- Documentation for information management systems

You will be working in conjunction with Centre Managers and providing advice on resources required for the use of information technology and data systems to meet the Centre's needs. 

To be successful in this role you need the following: 

ICT-related formal qualification or similar experience: 
• Level 4 – ASUP (Application Support) 
• Level 4 – SYSP (System Software) 
• Level 5 – CHMG (Change Management) 
• Level 4 – SCAD (Security Administration) 
• Level 4 – USUP (Service Desk and Incident Management) 
• Level 4 – CSMG (Customer Service Support) 
It will be desirable to have candidates with programming development background 
• Level 3 or 4 – PROG (Programming/software development )
