Program Test Manager

AJQ have secured some new projects therefore we now require a Program Test Manager to join our team.
 
Working onsite, our client is a leading Sydney based bank where you will be given you the chance to build a team and deliver the testing effort for a large program of work.
 
Role responsibilities:

• Manage all test activities for a large and high profile project, whilst also managing testing effort on BAU and other projects.
• Responsible for all testing effort including functional, non-functional and UAT.
• Establish a robust, effective Testing practice and strategy.
• Build effective stakeholder engagement both internal and external to the company.
• Helping train and mentor new test team.
• Establish Test Execution Status Reports and Test Summary Reports.
• Build an automation framework that will report excellent ROI in the medium to long term.
• Ensure testing framework adheres to industry and company standards.

Required experience and qualification: 

• 10 years in the QA field and 5 years of Test Management (either as Senior Test Manager or Program Test Manager)
  Experience in establishing new test teams and strategy and working with other vendors and clients.
• Experience of working on large complex compliance programs
• Understanding of data Privacy (ideal)
• Controlling large budgets whilst running multiple successful projects simultaneously
• Demonstrate experience of automation testing, performance testing is desirable
  Working knowledge of different delivery methodologies and having the foresight and confidence to implement new strategies designed to hitting targets.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence in reporting to executive management and demonstrating accountability for testing related output
• Knowledge or experience working with large end to end financial systems involving external parties is critical.
• Strong Project Management skills
• ISTQB Manager qualification is desirable
• Tertiary qualification in the IT field is desirable
• Project Management certification is desireable
