 As a Lead Developer you are responsible for the design, development, testing and documentation of mobile applications. As a leader you will also be required to mentor and coach other members of the team.
Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure solutions are testable and write automated unit, integration and E2E tests that support delivery
  • Take a leading role in design discussions for complex features and be accountable for their successful implementation
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders and relevant teams via presentations, engagements and other means
 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • 6+ years of development experience using modern technologies and language
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript based technologies and frameworks such as node.js, Restify/Express or React.js, Redux and Angular.js
  • Extensive experience with SQL, NoSQL, Redis and database design
  • Extensive knowledge of software design patterns and best practices in software development
  •  Extensive knowledge in Agile engineering practices
  • Excellent experience of continuous delivery practices such as CI, automated testing and continuous deployment
  • Excellent knowledge of common web and application architectures and development methodologies including Agile.
  • Good experience working with *nix based environments
  • Experience working with AWS or other cloud based infrastructure providers
  • Experience working with Docker, application monitoring and profiling tools e.g. Newrelic
  • Working knowledge of Babel, web-pack, ECMA2015+, HTML5, CSS3 and meta-languages like CoffeeScript and SASS
  • Experience with other back-end languages like Java, Golang, Ruby is desirable
  • Experience in a wagering or trading environment is desirable
