The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our established team. Working in a team within a flat organisational structure, you'll have the opportunity to contribute across the entire application lifecycle while interacting closely with stakeholders from across the business.

In this role you’ll:

• Lead DevOps projects, engaging with internal stakeholders and vendors to design and deliver solutions
• Assist with the design, deployment and administration of hosting infrastructure built on a combination of internal and IaaS platforms
• Work closely with development teams to increase the efficiency of our development capabilities, sharing knowledge and evaluating and experimenting with DevOps technologies and techniques
• Find new ways to resolve reoccurring problems and use problem solving techniques to solve technical issues and improve efficiency
• Demonstrate a passion for technology and innovation and keep up-to-date with emerging products and solutions
• Demonstrate an ability to multitask and manage your responsibilities with minimal supervision and with high quality outcomes
• Work with the IT Leadership Team to help define and document standards, procedures and policies.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Strong DevOps experience
• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline,
• Experience with hosting environments built on VMware, Windows Server, IIS, .NET, SQL
• Strong coding and scripting skills in technologies such as PowerShell, Python or Bash
• Demonstrated experience with TFS/GIT CI pipelines
• Hands on experience with Octopus Deploy
• Familiarity with automating microservices deployment
• Experience with high availability systems and disaster recovery techniques including load balancing, database and VM replication
• Any exposure to web UI, web API and native app development in C#, .NET Core, Angular 6, Ionic, Cordova is a bonus
• Hands-on DevOps experience with Microsoft Azure is also highly regarded
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent written and verbal English
• The curiosity and flexibility to learn, and contribute to, a broad range of technologies
