This Global IT & Managed Security services provider in the North Ryde area, requires the expertise of an experienced Network Security Engineer to work with a team of network security engineers in a Global Enterprise environment.
The candidate can be expected to take on a varied role across different security technologies and services
The successful candidate will be part of the Network Security Services (NSS) Team within their Cybersecurity Division. They will work with the NSS Team to provide security technology services to some of Australia's leading businesses in the Finance, Resources and Government sectors.
The position is full-time (with on-call obligations) and will be based primarily out of their Macquarie Park office, however, will be based on client site from time to time. The candidate can be expected to take on a varied role across different security technologies and services.
They are looking for a candidate who is passionate about network / security, great at communicating and servicing clients and is interested in working for a Global IT Services company in one of the most advanced and largest Security businesses around.
Technical Skills / Responsibilities:
- Expert level knowledge of F5 experience
- Expert level Blue Coat Experience
- Snr F5 Security Engineer with technical experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF or ASM) migration / Upgrade of management server and gateways in a production environment.
- Hands on experience with F5 Web application Firewall or ASM not F5 Load Balancing.
- Troubleshooting Site to Site / Remote Access VPNs, knowledge of F5 SSL VPN.
- Experience working with information and network security practices
- Experience with networking and TCP/IP
- Skilled in implementing and configuring networks and network components
- Experience working with computer programming and scripting
- Experience and certifications for relevant security technologies
- Analytical and problem solving skills for resolving technical and security issues
- Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a team environment
