Business Systems Officer required for 5 month contract within a busy team in the public sector.
Your new company
Exciting opportunity to join the public sector working for a busy regulator within the transport industry. They are currently going through a period of significant reform and require someone to come in and be responsible for all ICT technical support and advice during this busy period.
Your new role
This is a 5 month contract with potential for extension, this role is responsible for operational support to the business as well as providing Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support to both internal and external stakeholders. You will use your knowledge of business hardware and software systems to provide input into project activities, and developing and re-designing business services divisional reporting. You will write technical and procedural policy documentation as well as providing support and advice to leadership. Furthermore, you will be required to keep up-to-date on the wider ICT industry and implement any new technologies and processes to your work.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you will demonstrate:
- A solid understanding of first and second level ICT support, particularly within common business hardware and software systems.
- Experience within the public sector and common ICT processes.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
